So on my way to the grocery store my miata stalled out and now will not start back up. It has gas and good battery. When I try and turn it on it turns over but doesn't start. What could it be?

Is it throwing any codes? Even the old non-OBDII Miatas have codes that can be displayed.
If you open the oil cap and crank the engine, do you see the cams moving? If not, your timing belt broke.
Do you have spark? Don't pull the wire off to check, you'll damage the coil pack... instead, put a plug in the end of the wire and lay it on the valve cover and see if you have spark on the plug. If you don't have spark then you have a coil pack issue or a sensor issue.
My guess would be a bad CAS
Based on another thread you started, I'm going to guess you have a 90 Miata. I would suggest you pick up the Enthusiasts repair book. I have one listed that another forum member said he would pick up last Saturday, but did not.

Of course, your profile is like his... not filled out, so I don't even know where you are. I'll be back in town Friday.
Ok so its deff. not the timing belt. I checked the spark plug wires with a spark plug wire tester while turning the motor over and none of them had a spark. Oh and yes its a 1990 miata.
Check this.
Everything is connected nothing is loose.
Ok so come to find out it was the fuel pump/sender I tried to post a picture of them but was not able to.
