University of North Texas - Formula SAE

Good evening all!

I are with the very new University of North Texas Formula SAE team. This past year was UNT's first year to build a car, we are working on another for the 2013-14 year. I wanted to poke around here for awhile and see what events are taking place and where. We are very limited at the moment for a facility to work on the car and work on driver training [we need seat time!].

I am aware that the Texas SCCA has been more than welcoming to their events, and we are going to do our best to make it out there! We are looking to see all the options that are available in North Texas.. if you're part of a different group that might be open to have us join your track day, we would love to hear about it. We are just trying to get as much time behind the wheel and near cones as we can at the moment! [as long as we can afford to keep tires on it and gas in the tank :D]
