Cigarette lighter remove/replace??!

Hey guys, been a while since I've been on here. I see a lot of new faces!

So when I bought my miata, my cigarette lighter didn't work and I've always wanted to be able to charge my phone and be able to use a radar if I ever buy one. I've looked for ways to remove it or install it and can't seem to find any help. I'm sure it's simple I just don't want to break it off by accident! Can any of you explain the best way install a new cigarette lighter? Any help is much appreciated!

R&R is pretty easy, really. The part in the dash, at least for the NA, is two pieces that unscrew from each other. Unplug the wiring first.
