If one was to buy a car with a s/charger already on it and you wanted to remove the supercharger how big of a pain is that? Better yet is it even feasible if the factory air box and associated plumbing was not included with the car ? I suppose if it would be possible to use an aftermarket intake kit, right?
Why would you take it out? Superchargers are a good thing aren't they??

Should be straightforward. What you do is post here to trade parts with someone who has a stock Miata of the same year to do a swap. Trade that person the SC setup for the OEM parts plus some cash.
Make sure you understand what has been done with engine management on that car.
