Hello! Reaplacing my 2006 MX-5 radiator. New radiator has trans cooling ports. Do you plug or cap them off if they are not going to be used? Car is a 6-speed manual trans.

I just ignored the ones on my '02 since they weren't going to be doing anything once the radiator was installed.
Same here. I think ignoring them is fine. It would be a nice touch to route the PS fluid through there.
Thanks. Just wanted to make sure they werent gonna spew coolant whenI fill it up.
The automatic transmission fluid flows through them so it's a separate system. You can leave them open.
Thank a ton for the knowledge! I Picked it up the car a month ago. had a blown engine. Put a new used engine in (pulled and replaced from the top contrary to what all the manuals say for an NC). Hopefully she will be fired up this weekend!
