Broke inside Windshield

Had a great idea that went south quickly. Rear View Mirror on my Ranger is de-laminating so I thought I'd swap it for another one I had in my bin of parts.

Googled the process watched a few YouTube videos and then proceeded to break the windshield.... Got about a 2" crack on the inside where the mirror mounts. This project certainly didn't go according to plan.

I figure when it gets hotter or cooler this crack is going to take off is that a correct assumption.

Warranty? :-)
Bummer

I don't think the Warranty covers ham-fisted user errors but I'll review the paperwork.....

At least replacement windshields are cheap!! And they will professionally install the new mirror for you.
