ghetto rigged a dip stick handle

used an extra anti fouler i had laying around. I cut off the end where it threads into the bung or hole or what ever took the dip stick threaded it through then took the piece i cut off and screwed it into the end capping off the end and holding the dip stick in place. similar concept to http://clubroadster.net/vb_forum/85-...-you-want.html , but well.. ghetto doesnt look horrible. ould use an actual spark plug but i didnt have any sitting around.

While creative, it seems like a metal dipstick handle really isn't the best next to a hot engine.

I agree. I had a metal one in my last car and couldn't touch it after driving. Always had to use a towel after warm up.

I expected a pic of the old Miagra dipstick.

Creek used the brass from a .30-06 on his dip stick. There is a photo of it around here somewhere, but I can't find it.

I smashed into a barrier while karting today and i don't even remember posting this :confused:.

What number kart so I can avoid it next time i'm there. ;)
