I have harvested the drivetrain from my parts car donor. Not going to keep the auto tranny, it only had first gear.

Now to clean and freshen the seals. Debating on replacing some parts while the motor is out, like the water pump, cams(from auto to manual), timing belt, alternator, starter.
Maybe I'll get the opportunity to stab it into my daily gas-saver in a week or two.

I'd definitely do the TB/WP along with cam and front crank seals. Take a hard look at the back too. Now's the time to do the rear main seal if it's needed.

Talked to Jay today. It's the car in the picture. It's silver. Pretty sure that's a 1.6, so a 90-93. I'm interested in the hood assuming it's in relatively good shape.
