1992 Replacement Top Questions

Ok... I have the cash to purchase or repair my top.

The car is clean & straight and is my daily commuter vehicle however its not a beauty.

The problem..... my back zipper window ripped. Yes its been very cold lately :)

My Questions

Can the back window be replaced by sewing in a new one?
Is it worth sewing in a new back window?
How can I tell if I have a cloth or vinyl top? I suspect its vinyl.
Who makes a good cloth or vinyl replacement top?
Is there a store here in the DFW area that sales good tops? I would like to see one before purchasing but will purchase of internet if have to.
What is a good price for a replacement top? I will install.
About how long does it take?
Where can I find good instructions on how to replace my top?
What do I not know that I should be asking the forum?

i just ripped my top today =( I also need to find out what to do.

I put a new top on my '94 from TopSource or Source Top, they're a sponsor on Miata.net.
I'm thinking it was about $250 with the rain rail. It was the least expensive they had.
It kept the rain out.
