I'm way overdue for a visit here.... you guys are the ones got me really started down the rabbit hole. I bumped into Jerret at a Taco Bueno a month or two ago, and that reminded me that I really needed to check in again.
November 2010... after a friend suggested autocross, I came to my first event, NTAXS at Pennington Field
2011... lots more autocross, and a ton of friendly encouragement here
October 2011.... PCA Time Trial at MSR, and it was all over. Holy crap, track driving is cool!
2012... DEs, track days, another time trial, and at the end of the year, the decision to start a ChumpCar team (Inappropriate Tools Racing)
2013.... a few hundred hours rebuilding a 1993 BMW 325is for the track. Roll cage, stripped interior, lexan windows.
September 2013... first wheel-to-wheel racing. Amazing, totally different experience and super cool
2014... who knows! We're doing another ChumpCar race, March 22 at Texas Motor Speedway, come on out. We're the #53 red BMW.
So... thanks! It's been a while, and I can't promise I'll be around much. I've got a new baby, and a race car, which means my autocross days are probably done.
