FS: AutoX-Prepped '94 Miata M-Edition
The time has come for me to sell my beloved Miata. I have decided to move into my dad's (much better prepped) s2k for the foreseeable future. Many of you probably know this car. It won class 1 last year with NTAXS, and IMO has been quite successful given what I've put into it. I bought it in March of 2012. This has been my daily driver for the past ~2 years, but also my autox car. It has been driven hard at events, but meticulously maintained. It only had one previous owner before me, and the history suggests they took it to the dealer very often. I bought it from Bob at MSR-C, so I didn't meet the owners, but I believe this was a babied sunny day cruiser for the first 80k of its life. I have a carfax for anyone interested. Anyway, here are the details. I'm sure I'll forget something, feel free to ask any questions you may have:
- 98,888 miles (It's not even broken in ;))
- Paint is good, not great. I will say it is a fantastic "10 footer", I've gotten quite a few comments on the condition of the paint. (Issues are peeling clear coat on bumpers and other places, small dings, etc)
- Oil was changed every 3k with Rotella T6, Trans every 15k with Motorcraft, Diff every 15k with different brands of synthetic
- Has various AutoX bits installed, including koni sports+sleeves (this may be parted out), RB 15/16" solid sway bar, ISC offset UCA Bushings, Kirkey Pro-Street Drag 15" seat (can sell with stock seat for cheaper), more that I can't recall right now.
-I properly depowered the steering rack by removing the internal seals and getting the pinion gear welded by vorshlag to remove all slop. On the 195 all seasons currenly mounted, the effort is low, even at parking lot speeds.
-It's an Ex-Rollbar car, so the package shelf has been trimmed, holes cut in carpet, etc.
- I will have some TRM 15x9 wheels, possibly with some Rivals or R-S3's, to sell with the car if the buyer is interested.
- New Robbins Glass window top installed by myself around a year ago
- TB/WP done at 80k, clutch and flywheel resurface around 90k
- I won't bore you all will all the other maintenance and/or issues here, but I have a list for anyone interested
That's all I can think of right now, I'll probably modify the post as more comes to me. I'd really prefer to sell this to a local autocrosser, so I'm going to give it a few days here before posting elsewhere. I'm asking $4200.
