In car video questions.

I picked up a cheap 1080p action camera and I'm looking for a roll bar mount. Anyone have TCB suggestions for a good mount? I will be mounting it to a diagonal. I found this and it seems like a good option. The camera uses a traditional camera mount. Not the GoPro mounting.

Also, what version of Harry's Lap Timer should I get? Petrol Head or Grand Prix?

Finally, if I mount the iPhone with Harry's Lap Timer to my windshield, where else could I mount the action camera for fun video?

Not TCB, I use RAM mounts. They work well with no vibration.

With your iPhone capturing the forward view and also giving you lap time info while running, I'd face the action cam rearward and do PIP. Or you could have the action cam doing forward view too but positioned to capture your hand motions.

I vuilt one of these. Surprised how well it worked.

The only issue I had was my camera did not have an anti glare filter and when looking through my windshield with all the rock chips looked like a disco light.
