This is probably not the most popular mod ever done in this forum, but considering how the paint on the front of my car was looking it is much better. I got a kit from dipyourcar.com and did it myself. Not a tough job, but I did learn some lessons for the next time if I do it again.

I ran a test for about 8 months on the hood with rattle can plastidip. It didn't come off as easy in some spots where it was thin. In other spots it came off pretty easily. The spots were it was real tough I actually just masked off a square and added more plastidip and gave it a day and it all peeled off in one sheet. I also did a test on the winsheild header with nice thick coats and the entire thing came off in one piece. I made sure and got several thick coats so well see.
I've had the same experience; its very easy to peel if it is thick enough to handle the pulling force. Glad to see how well though-out your effort is, much more useful as a data point than the typical ricer kid's work.

I bought 3 gallons and left about 1/3 of a gallon in the can. I could have sprayed it, but the way it was going I wouldn't have made it around the car again. So I left it in case I need to touch anything up.Quote:
