I have looked at the Atom several times. Sucks the title has been pulled by Texas. That will make selling it at $75K a tough one.

Seems overpriced. You can get a S/C K20 car in the mid 50's if you look around. I test drove a 300 hp Ecotec s/c car when I was seriously considering buying one. Fast as hell in straight line (like make your eyes water fast) but sketchy otherwise in the handling department and makes a Lotus seem like a Rolls Royce in the build quality department. The turn signals are metal switches you have to flip up and down on either side of the steering wheel pod, not even a basic turn signal stalk. I get minimalist but that's just sloppy.
I thought it would be cool to be able to drive a "track" car on the street but I don't want to end up like this guy.

Sad story, it was in CA, not TX and it was last year on Christmas eve. Bet that family isn't going to celebrate Christmas for some time to come.Quote:
