Going to Lincoln!

Unfortunately I am going about a month and a half too early. We are loading up the family truckster and heading that way for a wedding. I know a lot of you guys have made the trip, so I was looking for advice. Google is giving me two options, either stay on 1-35 or take KS 15 just north of Wichita. I am leaning to the first option for simplicity sake. The main thing I am thinking about is a pregnant wife who often needs frequent pit stops. Any tips for the drive? Thanks.

We always take 35->135->81->80.
