you do
save you a lot of effort
Yea I agree!
Already have all those parts either on or waiting to go on the car. Waaay past the point of no return.
Asking price is too high IMHO.
Agree, 18K? Mcshane can sell you 18 miatas for that price.
Yes, without a doubt. The challenge would be to sell 3 Miatas for that price.
This is a bad deal unless you are a rich guy looking for a turnkey solution..... but those guys just buy Z06's. Don't get me wrong it's an awesome car, it's just really expensive for an NA.
Without spares $14.5k, I don’t think you could build it any cheaper with the parts he has on it. $5-6k shocks alone.
It is a used race car that can be hard to resale, so if that’s what you want you could probably find a similar car cheaper or wait until he comes down on price. There is something to be said for a proven turnkey car.
I would buy it but I havn't given up on the ZO6 yet ;)
It's worth what ever someone is willing to spend. Quit sh*tting on peoples threads.
Depends on what you are going after. If you want an NA for driving around town then I agree. If you are going after a National Championship in CSP, then this may not be a bad way of going about it, or at least better than starting with a stock 90 Miata.
Yep. The price is not outrageous if you want to jump into CSP without the development time/knowledge. I think it will need to be a couple grand cheaper to sell, and you could definitely build a similarly competitive car for less, if not using the identical brands of parts. But you need the time, skill, and patience to make it all work.
^Not the point. Why do you even care? Go troll a BMW forum.
Meh... this forum would be all but dead if it wasn't for the trolling. ::Clown::
There is always someone looking for the "package" and a built competitive national level car. Not my deal i prefer to build and then drive like sh*t. Like the challenge of building it myself. Posted this for an old friend in case there was interest. Built cars never bring what their owners think they are worth. Thus negotiation on price.
Sorry if i pissed anyone off but at least it isnt a bimmer.
