First 3 mods so many more to come......

So this winter I purchased Brooks' old '94 R. He was kind enough to provide me with an extra set of wheels and tires. Via a little wheeling and dealing I sold/traded those sets and got a set of used 16X7 SSR Integrals in nice shape with plenty of tread on the BFG all season tires. I wanted 16s since I'm going to be doing a V8 swap (Ford). I've always wanted a Monster and this year I will have the funds and ability to make it happen. I already have the donor '94 Mustang GT.

The car already had a hard dog double diagonal roll bar installed. The next two mods were roll bar padding along with the bethania garage vinyl padding cover. I've never seen their roll bar cover in person before this and it definitely is nice. I got it since my son is 6'3" and his head hits the bar easily. I'm much shorter so I don't have that problem. It was a safety issue in my opinion. The 3rd mod was the tried and true voodoo shift knob. I'm going to have to make sure my V8 shifter is threaded to fit this knob after the swap.

Where did you find your SSR's?!?! Those are my all-time favorites for an NA.

Found the wheels on Craigslist. Traded some TR1 Motorsports with autoX rubber for them plus a bit of cash. Then sold the stockers for cash to recoup my difference. All in all it was a pretty good deal for me and they do look nice. They really change the tone of the car. They will probably need refinishing sometime, but they are straight and don't have any curb damage.

How's Brooks doing? I haven't heard talked to him in years.
