FS: 2003 Shinsen Edition Miata - all original and clean.
Selling a 2003 Shinsen Edition Miata, which was a limited-production "enthusiast oriented" package with a unique color combo and options list.
"In 2003 Mazda launched a campaign to target a younger group of drivers with the introduction of the Shinsen Version (SV) Miata. The Shinsen (Japanese for "Fresh and New") provided an intermediate step between the base model and the pricier LS. Equipped with most standard features on the LS, such as cruise control and aluminum brush trim. This limited production model also shared an inverted color scheme of the same year Special Edition with a titanium silver exterior and dark blue top and interior." -wiki
Has dark blue fabric top in great shape, dark blue fabric seats (very good, some texture wear on drivers seat bottom but no holes or bolster issues), and a dark blue leather insert on the door panel and on the shift knob, otherwise the interior is black, with brushed aluminum accents around shifter/radio and vents.
Titanium Silver (grey) is a beautiful color, very flattering on the NB2 body. Package also included "small tupperware" side skirts, rear mudflaps, and a trunk lid spoiler.
-OEM silver "twisted spoke" 16" wheels.
-OEM Limited-slip differential
-PS/PW/PM, AC, Cruise, remote keyfob/trunk opener (x2)
-Nardi leather steering wheel
-Sport Brakes
-Sport sway bars, front shock tower bar, factory butterfly bracing underneath.
-5 speed manual transmission
-Standard AM/FM/CD stereo with door tweeters.
OEM chrome fuel lid
-Only aftermarket item is a Nautilis horn I installed new this weekend. (for safety)
Maintenance will be updated, but car is mechanically very good. Everything works as it should, fresh alignment.
Mileage is 175k, and was enthusiast-owned prior to my purchase. No rust, some small blemishes on bumpers.
This is one of the best-looking Miata packages, I think. Has all of the desirable aspects of the NB2, and leaves-off the unnecessary stuff like leather, Bose, and 6mt.
Clear texas title in-hand.
***Update: New tires and Tokiko Blue shocks installed 3/14, alignment to FM specs. Car drives really well.
