So my miata, uhh...molded?
lol I do find this comical for some reason. I hardly drive the miata these days except to the parts store on saturdays. That will change soon, but it's sat in the garage since november, I've had it out a few times, last time it was rainy and the windows fogged up after the sun came up. I had it top down airing out for a day before I parked it, but guess it wasn't enough.
Saturday I was greeted with this...

Every surface had mold of some sort on it. Every bolt head has rusted. Shit in the trunk molded & rusted. All the color came off my custom RevLimiter gauges, WTF man, good old window seals...
I lysoled most of the surfaces off and drove it to Napa. Later I was reminded that mold is kinda dangerous to breathe, so i'll probably be emptying an entire can into the seats / carpet. The carpet actually doesn't smell any kind of mildewed or dank at all, just a faint moldy tortilla smell, mixed with old miata smell, like the rest of the interior does. I'll probably pull the seats out and let it dry in the sun after lysol.
I thought it was pretty funny actually. Only thing that pisses me off is the gauges. Those were the coolest thing I had goin in my car, i'll have to pay the $150 or whatever to get a new set. Before pic of gauges...farewell
