So the Corolla lease is up in May so it is time to get EKK another car. (For the new kids EKK is my daughter)
We are liking the Mazda2 aka. Scion iA (soon to be Yaris iA) and the Mazda3. And of course we could always default to another Corolla.

Anyone have any real world experience with either of these two cars??
My son bought a 2015 Corolla S Plus. Great car, great gas mileage and lots of legroom in back row. Huge trunk space. Has very good Nav/Entertainment system (better than my 2015 Ford F150 Lariat).
Also, my daughter bought a 2015 subaru forester. It's an awesome small suv. It's nice when your kids graduate from college and pay for their own cars!!!
This should be the last car we get her. She currently has just 2 more years to go at Oklahoma State. ::Banana::
I'm leaning toward the Scion since there is a Toyota Dealer in Stillwater. Free maintenance is sweet if you don't have to leave town to get it done.
She has a 2014 Corolla LE-Plus and she'd prefer not getting another one - "BTDT". ;)
Better go with the larger '3' in case she lets you drive it!
I prefer the 3, but I hear very good things about the 2/Scion/Yaris, adn a dealer service in Stillwater is a big thing.

The CMU kind of stuff it what has me leaning towards a car line that has a Dealership in Stillwater.
If you want something with a dealership local to her, you are limited to Hyundai, Honda, Toyota, Ford, Chevy/Buick/GMC. So I would say forget the 3 and focus on the Toyazda 2, and maybe consider the Focus or Fiesta (ST if you love her).

We love EKK but just don't love her enough to get her an ST. ;-)
Well I hope you love her enough to not make her drive that ugly ToyScion pictured at the top of this page.
My ex bought a Mazda 3 sedan last fall and has had good luck with it. Except for the minor collision with Titus' old MPV that was parked behind it one night.
About the Mazda 3, I test drove the 2015 2.0L and 2.5L automatics and a 2.0L manual before I ultimately settled on the 2.5L manual. The 2.0L automatic felt sluggish compared to the 2.0L manual and the 2.5L automatic. I think both the 2.0L and the 2.5L are good choices in manual. If you are considering an automatic, I'd avoid the 2.0L.

Good point on keeping it after the lease, but the buyout on the Lease just isn't cheap enough for us to consider buying the Corolla.
After 2 years the Corolla has not generated any fans. It is often referred to as the "Soulless toaster with Nav"... It really isn't much of a car but it is an excellent toaster.
Hadn't thought about Hondas I'll bounce that off EKK.

The Mazda 3 got a style update in 2013 or 14, I think, and the new ones look a lot bigger than the older models.
