94 Miata R 1.8L white with SSR Integrals, Harddog hardcore and padding
Yes I am selling my Miata that I bought in January. The reason: I have bought two Corvettes in the past 4 months and only have so much room for hobby cars. I was going to convert this car into a 5.0 Monster. I have two engines, a transmission, and lots of upgrade parts if you want to go this route, all wiring, computer..... everything really including an IRS 8.8 center section with trac lok from a T bird. All you would need is a kit and I have a spare front crossmember too.
Anyway the Miata I will sell for $3250 as is.
I am selling my wonderful, super reliable and fun to drive Miata R. Yes this is a real R type with the correct parts (suspension, no radio, front and rear chin spoilers, correct springs, Bilsteins, etc.). It has about 110,000 miles on it (I'd honestly have to check, to be 100% sure and exact). This Miata has no rust anywhere unlike many it's age. The battery compartment is in great condition, the rain rail drains function properly and there is no rust on the frame near the drains (real Miata killer). This car is the perfect autocross toy or just fun nice day driver. I've owned it 6 months and driven it just over 1000 miles. It performs flawlessly and is 100% reliable. I would not hesistate to drive it anywhere. The A/C blows cold, heat works. The radio.... oh that's right R types have no radio. No power steering and no cruise either.
The cosmetics are decent. There are hail dings in the trunk and hood that might repairable using PDR. The rest of the body panels are near perfect including the often broken rear filler panel. The rear plastic window is a bit foggy. The drivers side seat shows typical wear at this mileage. I also removed the plastic door handles and installed very nice leather ones from revlimiter. They add a nice vintage look. I have the originals to go with the car too.
I also have a small bin of parts to go with the car including a Miata factory radio if you want to install it.
I traded up two sets of wheels to get 16x7.5 SSR integrals. These wheels have faded paint, but they are real SSRs and are strong and light. The tires are very new low mileage BFG g force sports. The tires will easily last another 30,000 miles. The wheels could use a refinish. I was going to paint them gunmetal finish. I can give you the paint if you want and buy the car.
I also added the rollbar padding and cover to the Hard dog hardcore roll bar. This is a great safety and chassis stiffening item to have in your Miata. To duplicate this would cost you $600 with padding and cover. I also installed a Voodoo shift knob. To me it's a must in a Miata.

The only reason I am selling this car is because I have bought two Corvettes to play with in the past 4 months. This was going to become a V8 Miata, but I don't need or have room for it now. I have a complete Ford 5.0 engine, lots of upgrades for it, transmission and independent Ford 8.8 from a T-bird if you are interested in a Monster Miata of your own.
I have a clear blue texas title in hand.

If the weather ever turns I will clean it up and take a bunch more photos. If I do that, I'm probably going to pull the CL ad down and try bring a trailer.
