Roll Bar Install Tech Day - Saturday 10DEC

I would love to host a few of you guys (and buy lunch) if you are willing to head to my garage to help me install a rollbar on Saturday 03DEC @ 9a.m.

My have's:

• 01 Miata
• roll bar
• new roll bar hardware
• rattle can of undercoating

My need's:

• long 3/8 drill bit
• tin snips (ill get some from HF)
• a few miata friends with experience

My location:

• approx 1mi south of 121 and Main Street\Josey Lane (Lewisville\The Colony)

I think I can make it.

Maybe. Who has the community drill bit?

I looked at Lowes for a long one but did not find it. Where can i secure one locally?

Weather looking cold and wet...reschedule?

With Jimmy out and the dampness I will reschedule to 10DEC @ 9:30A so that Mike can make it too!

I'm hoping to finish the install this Saturday and would love your help if you all are still available. Currently the bar is dry fitted into the car. Here's what's left to do:
1. Modify seatbelt real to fit properly
2. install and tighten any hardware (seat belt tower and lower real)
3. Mark and drill holes
4. reinstall bar and torque all bolts.

Easy peasy!

I'm fighting the crud this week, and will keep my germs at home. Sorry.

I've pretty much resigned to doing this myself but know that it would go 2x faster if someone was with me that has done it before. Thanks for the offer however!

Tough weekend. Saturday is an open day at ECR, and Sunday is the ER TnT.
