School me on a MS2/aftermarket ECU

Hello all. As I am sure some of you noticed, there is an MS2 for sale on the FB page.

I havent really been thinking about one soon, but it has me looking.

The loose plan for the car right now is header, some insulation around the tunnel and probably a header blanket/wrap, a LSD, probably a Fab9 coil pack (or alternative), and a bunch of seat time. One day, probably a supercharger (rotrex).

Is the MS2 a good option, would I be better of with an MS3 or other variant, or just not worrying about it and getting more seat time anyways? Also, I am not hung up on getting this one (and probably wouldnt anyways, as I am not ready to do so, and just got rear ended in my Jeep, so waiting to see how that plays out...), but seeing it for sale just got me to thinking about more Miata parts.

Oh, and the answer is "no, I dont have any idea how to tune. But I bet I could learn.
