SCCA Time Trials Nationals

The recently announced 2018 SCCA Time Trials Nationals event sounds interesting. Notwithstanding the undeniable fact that I am too slow to give a flip, the big news is that there is going to be a 3-day Time Trials event at NCM Motorsport Park in Bowling Green, KY, in 2018. A Time Trials event that SCCA wants to grow into a motorsports enthusiast lure to convert enthusiasts into participants. I don't know about you, but I'm all for that. It seems to be working for TNIA. Why not for TT?

What I'm wondering is if there will be any effort in TX Region to align with that program, perhaps through our Club Trials program?

From what I understand, there will be four levels of classing. Level 1 is for cars prepped to roughly STR class autocross. Level 2 similar to steet prepared. Etc.

Anyone know more about it? Anyone else interested?
