So was this a compliment or not?
Saturday after leaving the suspension job on Jiggerachi's car I was driving down HWY 10 when a Toyota Matrix wagon with 4 kids in it drove by. We stopped at a light, and when it turned green I accelerated to about 2500 rpm and shifted to second. After adjusting my ball cap and reaching again around 3 grand, I shifted to third. Meanwhile the matrix was off. The went screaming down the road. After he was probably 5 car lengths ahead I see the hazards come on. WHAT?? I guess he beat me huh? So I kept at the same speed and caught them. Smiled and shook my head. We stopped at the next light and the kid in the back seat asked me "What'd that retail at?" Is that what we are supposed to ask now as car guys? I always thought it was what'd she run, or what does she do. After I told him some random number in the high teens, he asked if it was an RX7. That suprised me, I thought most people knew miatas, and rx7s. I guess not, but Ill take it as a compliment. :mrgreen:
