MSR Full Course

Today was the first day for the whole enchilada! As of March 06 SM #13 has claim to the SM TR (track record) 2:42.7. Not really that fast and I bet there are 37s out there. Jason Saini was out in a customer car checking it out and in just a few laps had a 2:42.8. We were the only two out so my only claim (lame claim:rolleyes: ) to fame will be the first days fastest lap. I had a few offs but nothing bad. For 3 miles, it is still not a fast track, it is a good Miata track. I think it may frustrate some people who like to use their HP more then their driving line skills. BTW old #13 is going to a new home in Memphis, but a new #13 will take its place in a few months. This one will be "Vette Yellow", and really built from the ground up with new parts all the way around.

Saini was in town? Is he still doing the S2000 thing?

Anyway, I was there over the weekend for the Driver's Edge DE and absolutely loved the new section. Quite a blast.
