My power windows are kinda slow, especially the passenger one. It even squeaks a little. I've read on the pointy board about how to fix it by cleaning the switches, and lubing the rails in the door panel, but my question is what should I lube it with? The articles on :batman: are kind of vague on what to use. BTW, when is the next tech day? I have a list. ::Angel:: (I'd host one but I have no garage and only basic tools)
I used white lithium spray grease when I cleaned and lubed my windows.
White Lithium spray grease in the metal tracks the plastic wheels run in. These tracks reside inside the door. You will need to remove the door panels. Silicone lubricant on the rubber channels the glass slides through. DO NOT use the lithium on the rubber. Bad vedy vedy bad!!!!
If it were me, I'd just lube the rubber channels to see if that fixed the problem first.
As for the switches, the dirty contacts seem to be a problem with NA models only IIRC. That problem just keeps the window from going up or down, not squeaks or slowness.
I'm sure you could find a lubricant that is safe on rubber at your local Condoms to Go store. ::Clown::Quote:

When I fixed mine, I got some latex ( I know, I know) gloves and cleaned out some very hard dry lube from the window tracks.
