I look foward to seeing yall at the Ranch when I get back.
Scroll down to read how I feel about the situation. Warning: It's political.
First off I do not want to turn this into a political argument, this is how I feel. I am the one making the sacrifice. I am tired of the media distorting things and I want you to all know how I feel. Most of my peers feel the sameway.
I am glad we are in Iraq and Afghanistan. I support our Commander in Chief 100%. VJ day was celebrated the other day, we still have troops in Japan, Korea, and Germany. I think we should have bases in Iraq for atleast the next 50 years, we've sacrificed enough to help maintain stability in the region/country. This is not Vietnam, the reason we are back in Iraq for a second time is that we didn't have the resolve to finish it the first time.
The hard right is better than the easy wrong. To pullout would be easy, but it would be spitting on the graves of every soldier and civilian who has lost their life for this cause.
More than 1/2 a million troops have circulated through Iraq. If 2000 - 3000 soldiers have been killed, do that math.
Thanks for hearing my ramblings.
