Not a ton of different hardware. Same engine, some general sharpening up. Would I have bought this instead? Yes. Would I trade in the Si for it if they bring it over here in a couple of years? No.

It's sad to say that the first Type-R was released, in the US, in 1997 and the last was in 2001. During the 4 years they were in a pretty limited supply, as only 3850 ever made it to the states for retail sale.

Drool!!!!!! love my hatch, but it's lacking on the power and suspension.
