Oookay... I didn't look too deeply into this but anything that claims more than a 2 hp increase is pretty iffy to me. Somebody explain the logic behind this:

They are saying the hot water flowing through the TB increases the AIT and therefore you get less 02 per volume as the hot air expands. Less O2=less fuel burned=less power.
Hmm... wonder if it's made by the same people who produce the fuel line magnets and the Tornado...
WOW! 6-8 HP increase AT THE WHEELS! I want one, or maybe two.
Y'know what's really pathetic? The '99 Camaro they used for the dyno plot made less power with all those bolts-ons than lugnutjon's '99 Camaro did stock.
if you're really gonna try this go and pick up the stuff at home depot for cheaper...

I've seen intake manifolds on carbureated dragsters packed with ice between runs to do the same thing.

How many of you have cold air intakes? ::Bulb:: Same idea, just one more way to get there.
YMMV
one thing though, it will take you longer during cold weather to get the engine up to operating temperatures..
The reason Mazda runs the coolant thru the throttle body is to prevent fuel "iceing" in the TB. I think in colder climes this is a problem, but not around here. The reason I bypassed my TB was to try to reduce the intake air temp a little in conjunction with an insulating intake manifold gasket. Does it do any good? : probably not. Does it hurt anything? : probably not. Would I do it again? : probably.
