I don't have one but I looked at it after seeing an ad.
Looking at the specs:
Compact Size - just 4.8"W x 1.5"H x 1"D
It should be able to fit in a 1 DIN spot
I wasn't too happy with the OBD connector setup because my connector is in the driver's footwell along the right shin. The plug and cable would be rubbing on my leg while I drove unless I decided to relocate the whole plug.
That's a lot of data for the price. Now if that was integrated with a GPS......
Nice but it won't work on any vehicle I own.
That's when you get one of these little gems!
Hey Altiain did you get your Maxqdata unit??
Did anyone notice that TrackDog is listed as an authorized reseller?
the 2004.5 and up Diesel Engines actually use a Cummins Engine Management System and not the ODBC II system that was in previous years.
This means you can go to Cummins and they can upgrade your firmware and modify power outputs. All the fun stuff they know how to do.
if u watch, you can find these on group buy for a little cheaper. I want one, but can't justify it w/ the boss. :( she called me a nerd. haha, I'll prolly get one for myself in dec.
Nope. Gotta let the potential co-driver test the car first. Once he's hooked... erm, once he's decided he wants to co-drive the car this season, then I'll buy one. However, on the slight chance he doesn't want the co-drive, the racing budget goes toward tires instead of data acquisition.
Gary used his scan gauge on the road to and from Hallett back in October.
