So maybe you’re like me, and you’ve got a taste for some good single malts that just can’t be bought down at your local liquor store. If so, you should check out The Whisky Exchange. I stumbled across this website a few weeks ago while surfing the web. Just for giggles, I ordered a couple of bottles, half expecting the order to end up stuck in customs limbo or to get a call saying they couldn’t ship to Texas.
Imagine my pleasure to sign for a package from London a mere week after placing my order! I was surprised that the order arrived so quickly. All of the bottles arrived in excellent condition without a scratch. Perhaps the fact that the box was marked “collectibles” helped speed it through customs… :wink:
Now I won’t lie to you, shipping through this site isn’t cheap. But, if you’re in the market for something you just can’t find on these shores, or you’re a fan of whisky who is looking to try something different, I’d highly recommend this site.
