I've washed my engine a few times since I bought the car, and more than once I've ended up with water down in the spark plug holes. Yeah, I try to avoid spritzing water down there, but with all the rubber that pokes down into that hole and caps it off, you'd think there would be a little more water resistance. Am I wrong here? Are the rubber caps supposed to seal the holes?
Maybe I'm a little too picky (and spray-happy), but if I'm going to be monkey-wrenching under the hood, I'd like to keep it clean in there... without wetting the plugs!
