Overheating is for suckers ;)

I've been meaning to take care of a near-overheating issue that showed up last summer. If you didn't know, there's a lot of that "been meaning to" stuff in my world. ;) Procrastination is a bitch, ain't it?

Anyway, I finally picked up a radiator from Gary a few weeks back. He was kind enough to pack the booger up in my trunk, as the passenger seat was being disagreeable at the time. Thanks, Gary!
Once again, i put things off...

I found myself with a wee bit of motivation on Sunday afternoon, so I figured it was finally time to drop in the new rad and some spiffy Spal fans I'd also picked up several weeks prior.

Hey... does that rad work with stock fans or did you have to pony up for the Spal set?

I'm using the PWR from Gary with stock fans. They bolted right up.

Stock fans should work with most aftermarket rads. Some trimming might be required on some to clear bigger sway bars, but easy modification and still bolt right up.

I'm running an auto radiator, and when the turbo shiz goes in I'm going to run a proper coolant re-route. Hopefully that will take care of it. Was it overheating at the track, or in stop / go? Did you have the under-tray in?

Very nice, and Gary would sell me one of these for how much $$?
