Engine info.

What's up guys i need some feedback on what you think about engine swaps for the NA.

Heres the story, not too long ago i drove my NA for the first time in a long time since i got my NC and the little power that i had just didnt feel rite anymore, and also i get a feeling that its going to crap out on me here in the near future. I'm just wondering if there are any swaps out there that could be worth the while. Also does anyone know anything about some engine called the BP-turbo cuz i ran accross it when i was helping one of my friends trying to look for an engine for him. I'm trying to see where these motors came from and if they fit in the NA, but if you guys have any other suggestions on a different swap please feel free to share. I'm open for any type of suggestions out there because i know nothing about this stuff.:(

BP turbo came in the later 323 GTX's; it won't easily fit into a Miata, you would have to change intake and exhaust manifolds, fab up a new down-pipe, and a few other things. Just swap in a 94-97 Miata 1.8 or a 99-00 1.8 if you feel like doing a few extra steps.

Yes, the GTX was AWD ;)

MSM engines are pretty nice

What year is your NA? Adam offered some good suggestions. If you don't think the car is running right, when is the last time you did a tune-up?
