I know, it's not a real roll bar, but I still want one.
Thanks,

Here is a chrome racing beat style bar for sale: Ebay Link
I see where it says Racing Beat type...I fear a cheezy knock-off or lousy quality.
I just don't want to do any serious chassis cutting, modifications, etc.
"type" refers to a specific style that racing beat made. They made multipe "types" of style bars. such as: type I, type II, type III, etc.
A bolt in roll bar is always reversible. ;)
The rear shelf is trimmed; it's only a 3" x 4" section that is removed. The great thing about the hard dog and boss frog roll bars is the fact that they look and fit like it's from the factory. Just consider the safety over the style before you make a final decision. I definitely prefer the look of my roll bar vs. the look of the style bar that I once had.
The Hard Dog Hard Bar is a pretty simple, straightforward installation (if you have someone with you who has done it before). It's pretty much a bolt-in affair and it looks good, no permanent modifications are needed. Here's a link...

The true roll bar tightens up the car a lot. It is one of the most bangs for your $ mod. that you can do!
The hole cutting is minor on most rollbar installs. I assume that everybody who has one in their car has been a part of at least one install. We have the experience to help you out. Plus, some of us can be bought, should you decide to take on a project ;)
