Trade you for a non-silver stereo that's the same stereo. ;)
Is it the same as the LE stereo? Mine skips like hell and wouldn't mind changing to a newer one that actually works if you run over an ant.
Since it's a BOSE I don't think it would work in the LE. I have the stereo Titus has from the 01' or 02' Tribute in my car. It doesn't have the watts the pioneer has that came with the LE, but it never skips and works great. One guy with an LE painted his silver and it looks great.
My dad may be interested in this stereo. Does it have a plug-in for the rear the speakers that came in the wind blocker? Are the wind blocker speakers weird BOSE impedence or will normal speakers work? He's hoping that stereo will be able to run headrest speakers from M1 seats.
IIRC, the bose units are "dead head units" meaning they only put out line level noise. I think the plugs may also differ.
My dad is starting his search for info.
BTW, this would be going in an 03' that has a BOSE stereo already, he just wants to put M1 seats in it and wants to drive the head rest speakers.
Sharpie, The factory wiring plug that goes from the stereo to the main harness should be able to run headrest speakers as rears. the windblocker speakers I have had a small bose amp in the windblocker that sent the signal to the speakers
