In case you don't recognize the ISP, they specialize in bringing cable modem networks to apartments. FIOS would actually be cheaper, but they haven't brought it to my building yet.
Hmmmm.....I don't think I did to bad...

Upload Speed FTW :-D
I am sorry you have ygnition. That is the cable company that my apartment has also. I use OTA for TV and SBC for my DSL. I heard too many bad things about ygnition to even give them a try. I cant wait until ATT gets Uverse here since it will be a LONG LONG time before Fios comes.
DOes anybody have the microwave ISP?

For $20 a month, I guess it's better than dial up :(
So how much does my wireless slow down the speeds?
We have At&t U-verse but my portable is reporting the following:

It hasn't been horrible. It goes out for an hour or two every now and then (maybe once every month or two). It isn't bad for the price until FIOS came along. I really want to go for FIOS, but they won't wire the apartments for it.
I would go for DSL if they would allow naked DSL (no phone line). But since we have no phone line, it would turn out to be just as expensive to get DSL as it would be to stay with Ygnition.
