Economy Stimulus Check

You think I'm shitting you? A company I used to work for messed up and did that with a pay check. It caused my Aparment rent check to bounce.

I thought I got my check yesterday,...but no, it was a letter telling me I should have my check by 6/27, and if I haven't seen the check within 6 weeks of recieving the letter that I should call. :confused:

I got my letter saying I should expect a check about 2 weeks after mine was deposited.

Mine showed up unanounced yesterday. Didn't get the full amount. Guess thats what we get for both being fairly well paid DINKs.

It really is unfair for me that I do not get the extra $300 for my 18 year old that I fully support (he starts college this Fall) and he does not make enough money to get it either. Middle-class parents really get screwed by the IRS.

As long as you claim him as a dependent, it doesn't matter how much money he makes. My oldest daughter made enough money working part time while in school to have to pay income taxes, but won't get an economic stimulus check.

They are such a tease!! If you didn't get it you should call them...I'm always getting mail for the wrong address, either my next door neighbor or a neighbor with the same number but different street name.

Same here! I don't even get the full amount for me and my wife! I think there is story out there that if you file your tax electronically, IRS may not pick up the correct no. of dependent and give you the lower amount on the check!

I wonder what 32% of the board members are doing with their stimulus check.
