The latest one is still working for me. I am not in anyway endorsing what he did but I think that legally once the car reaches the "exempt" age, all bets are off as far as criminal charges go. Of course, civil liability is another matter.

Just wanted to say that I looked at the car today and it will be going to me, and also I can clear the owner, William, of any wrong doing or shadyness because it was his friend who posted the ads and misread the mileage. The car didn't appear to have been maliciously tampered with or stripped in any way and the owner was very reasonable.
Also thanks to Bo for all the info and help he provided me.
Nice! Glad to see another one stays "in the family"... that's a well-kitted car.
BTW, what happened to your '95M?
Good to hear it is staying in the DFWmiata family
Bad things...
I was rear-end and pushed into the car in front of me. I should be picking up some steelies tomorrow so that I can put my BBS for sale, and then other than that I am looking for some one to buy the salvage because the insurance didn't offer me much more if they took it so I kept it. But most of the money I put into the car will be able to be salvaged, like I already have my monsterflow intake on the 94R and the fogs didn't break on it so they will be transfered soon. But I am really happy with the 94R and will be even happier with it when I put the new in box Tein S-Techs and probably Bilsteins on it.
