Magma was the champion of the liquor at the party. Unfortunately, he was unable to accomplish his mission of getting my mother drunk. Instead, he drank all the booze that we bought for her to have. Hilarity ensued.
The 300 day/year wind coming off of the water stopped for 45 minutes right in time for the ceremony. 30 minutes after the ceremony, the rain hit. We were inside a glass walled pavilion by that time. The rain lasted an hour, then ended in time for us to leave dry. It was perfect.
