The beer must go through!
Did you get any water in the new car? That looks very close to the bottom of the doors... :(
Didn't hear or feel a thing in my downtown high rise apartment =D
Surprisingly it appears to be dry. I have it parked on a step incline to see if it puddles on the inside and to allow the exhaust system the chance to drain. The plastic cover on the motor was holding water more than likely from the wake off the trucks that would race thought the flooded road. It took it a while to start up. The air cleaner is dry so hopefully it didn't suck up any water when it finally started. Euless PD finally showed up on shut down highway 10.
I got a bunch of flood crap (sticks, paper, grass, and stuff I don't recognize) wedged under it and in the engine compartment that I am still trying to dislodge and clean up. Figure some pressure washer time tonight will get it back to normal.
I'm surprised the wake from the beer truck didn't push those other two cars over in to the ditch... glad the damage is minimal...
No significant damage out here on the prairie. The two trees I have in the front yard (Bois DArc and Locust) are some of the hardest wood you can find. (except when I look at a pic of Diane Lane)
Fuck!
MORE on the way! Including a tornado watch area. Hopefully that watch area will disappear before getting here.

At home (DNT & 190): power was out for about 1.5 hours last night. Lost one biggish branch and two cartons of patience. Lots of exciting wind...and Chick-Fil-A was still open. :)
At work (Coppell): some serious roof damage, two large a/c units got semi-shredded by high winds, and there will need to be lots of drop ceiling panels replaced. The distribution center came through mostly unscathed.
Nothing major in Mineral Wells that I know of. The heliport area is safe so that's good for us :D
Then again a Tornado could hit downtown Mineral Wells and it would probably cause a few hundred thousand in IMPROVEMENTS lol.
Good to hear you ::Clown:: all fared reasonably well. All we had up north was a few hours of sideways rain. No signs of any damage anywhere. I was pretty suprised to see what ya'll went though on the news this am..::Blink::
I was working on a program for a computer peripheral Wednesday night when it hit... I said to myself "Man, I hope this doesn't knock out the electri- SON OF A!" ;)
Several transformers popped around my street... had fire trucks and all that. I keep forgetting how the weather can be up here!
No damage, but yesterday morning was a heck of a storm. Lightning hit right on top of me a couple of times (and kept waking me up).
A little update: After the Wednesday night meet, I decided the storm was too bad so I stayed in Coppell. Yesterday (Thursday) morning the power went off at Jess's apartment at 10:30 am, and as of this morning when I left (8:30 am) to come back up to Whitesboro the power was still out. It's been almost 24 hours with no power. We stayed at my aunt's in Addison last night. Also there was water coming from her wall where the alarm control panel is. It now has some nice water stains leading down the wall to the floor. :(
