Welcome aboard. Sounds like you need a tech day.
Welcome aboard and I'm betting you get enough help to get her rolling.
Welcome. I've had my car for a week and a half and I'll be in need of a tech day or two in the future... Do those happen regularly or just whenever someone needs help?
Just find a date a few weeks in advanced that does not interfere with an autocross day and I am sure you will get a few takers.
Post up pics, and you'll probably get an even bigger response.
J/K.......
http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...ageID=36133349 hmm, just trying to see if I can put a little picture on here. Really just testing stuff out current.. And a tech day sounds like a good idea. I'm moving Torrent to my mom's that way there is room to work since I live in apartments. Who would be willing to come play with Torrent? Need to know since I'm thinking about cooking for that day too. Maybe fried chicken or grilled burgers? How about beer too?
Throw a post into the Event Planning area with a proposed date. You should be able to get a good idea on who's interested in dropping by.
You might also consult the local auto-x schedule elsewhere on this site. That should give you an idea of what days to NOT pick. ;)
Welcome, and let us know when to attempt to help
I'm up for a tech day in September... as soon as it cools down.
Loogie needs all new belts and hoses along with new coolant and spark plugs. She still has her originals at 68k miles and 5 years, 5 months of ownership.
Burgers? Chicken? Beer? You bet! Better wait to serve it after the work is done, otherwise you'll have a bunch worthless SOBs napping in your mom's garage.
You could also come out to a Wed Nite GTG and probably round up a few spare hands for a tech day.
Ohhhhh, I just can't resist..........(she opened the door!) I wanna come and play!!!!!!!
