Noob Question here: Can anyone give more info about what the TMS "road course" will be like, in relation to all the other autoX events? Is this an autoX on the infield, or is this more of a time-trial event? How will the driving differ? Thanks!
The road course event is similar to other autocrosses, except the road course layout doesn't leave as much lattitude for course designers to do a lot of variation in the course year to year.
You'll still do four runs, and only one at a time just like a regular event.
The mystique of the road course always draws a good crowd, so you'll have a lot more and varied competition as well as a bunch of seasoned drivers from out of town. It really is a great time - I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Again - make sure you register online by this Friday. We WILL NOT BE accepting walk ups.
