Yep, but I also have torn down a few Miatas in my time. After I finished my welding classes, I went out and starred at the rear qtr on my '96 parts car for a while. Decided that was one job I'd never want a piece of. 8 other major body panels of a Miata unbolt. Those are easy. ;-)
its really not that bad.
Don't forget -

Quick and easy... It's all relative. Book says a qtr panel swap is 15 hours. To an experienced bogyman it's a days work. Another for paint and maybe another for trimout. If it's a busy week 3-5 day repair. That is all IF the insurance company will put a qtr on it. Otherwise it's a fee hours with a studgun and some mud.
I wrote an estimate on a wrangler today that needed an axle, frame time, apron, etc. Over $6k, not quick and easy.
I meant no harm, just saying nice car and no worries, I'm sure it will look new again.
Aww man. Your first miata wreck is the one my wife and I always reference when talking miata crashes. Now this?
That's how I took it Greg. No bling but the side markers are a good idea! ::Rant::
maybe go that european flourescent yellow-y-greenish color they wear on safety vests with a reflective glow in the dark racing stripe.
