well I bought one
Thanks guys for the input and the offer for different rims.
Right now I really don't have a choice but keep these rims for now. These are 17 inch rims and are fairly new.
The low profile tires still have a lot of tread left on them.
Seeing as how this is an embrassement to the Miata community ,I am willing to tell everyone I have done wrong and therefore am being punished by the miata members
My punishemnt is to drive with these rims until the rubber is gone from the tires
With the cost of the car ,the cost to have it repaired plus wanting to still do something with my other 96,I will have to live with these for a while as I have no idea what I would do with them, seeing as how new they are.
Maybe no one has noticed but I see a bunch of 2007 -2011 miatas with the same type/style wheel. Now is it because of the year they are that they look bad or is it because they are not OEM for the prior years .
Now,the brand may be different but the style is the same so what am I missing ? Educate me on this
Oh yeah Rogue I do have the 7 spoke on my other one

We have bigger brakes on the 06+, so we have to run 16" or 17" wheels to clear them. The car is styled for 17" wheels, so it is proportional. Your wheels are not so much of an appearance issue (other than in comparison to other NA miatas), but many people will comment on them because they are HEAVY, and that generation Miata is very sensitive to unsprung weight. It will handle and ride much better with a proper size wheel.
Put those on Crailgslist and you'll sell them to some Honda ricer kid in no time, for more than enough $$ to buy a decent set of oem Miata wheels/tires. Someone already offered a great rim deal, and I think POS has some like-new tires for sale.

well, now that does make sense. I was sure there was more of a reason than just ugly donk car, just was not sure why.
Have had a couple of emails telling me same thing .
It is better to be told something looks bad than to let one run around and everybody sees it
I am one of those guys that sometimes needs a smack on the back of the head to get a point across .
I can swap the ones off of the other 96 for now as it will be setting up until I get it fixed back up
All the comments are appreciated very much
