Would you be a dove and take a picture of your CKP sensor on the car? I need to hook them up on both engines but I've never seen the mount before and don't really know what I'm doing. I have the same clutch. You'll be lucky to "break it in" on stock power. I ran that clutch for about 1-year and 50 track hours at stock power and when I swapped engines it slipped for a day...I'm calling that day "break-in".
So far it isn't that bad, It doesn't feel heavy like some of the performance clutches I've had in the past...It is a bit tricky to get used to, as it reacts totally different than the factory one.Quote:

Thank you! But what do you mean by "tricky"? Does it suddenly engages without forewarning or have bad engagement point?
It's not bad, it's just very different. It also appears that with the flywheel I have to have higher RPMs to engage, it's just a little getting used to.
I've got the Spec Stage 2+ in mine along with the light flywheel and pressure plate. It's friendly on the street. Much of the tricky-ness is from the rotating mass being lightened so much - the car revs much easier/quicker and the converse is also true when letting the clutch out. Just need to pay a bit more attention or use the e-brake when doing hill starts or running up ramps. The clutch itself is very smooth and engagement feels normal.
That's probably a better way to explain it than I could think of. It's alright when I've been driving around a bit, but when I get out for the first time my natural instinct is that I have my old clutch, :burnrubr: , takes a second to get back in the rhythm. I don't see it being an issue in a week.Quote:

It gets irritating in traffic, but the clutch is manageable. I recently sat in Houston traffic with mine, including the 350lb tire trailer, and it's not terrible. The car will bounce pretty hard when backing up slowly with the trailer.
I see, that all sounded better than the aforementioned CM clutch. Thanks! I will keep this spec unit in mind when the need arises.
