Don't worry. It won't see any salt or snow. I would, however, entertain trading KenO even up for the car he refers to as his "daily beater".

The axle straps tend to be a little short for wrapping around the wheel, but will wrap around the spokes nicely. You can use the straps I have, save you $40 and just bring them to nationals

Thanks for the offer. Yesterday I picked up a set of 33" straps which wrap rap around the meat of the wheels nicely.

Ok 7:00 pm Wednesday next week. Where do you want to eat? How about some place in grapevine? Or some other centrally located spot?
