This really looks like something KenO would use on Nomadtrash or CosmosMpower.

I have those mounts on both cars, ultra baller.
AWR/Mazdaspeed mounts FTW. You haven't torn any mounts until now because you don't drive hard enough (nor do you use R comps that much).
I think lugnutjon tried the RB blocks after he tore his first set of OEM mounts on his '99. After he tore the second set he went with the Mazdaspeed mounts. I went straight to the Mazdaspeed mounts after tearing up my OEM mounts and never had another problem.
I've also broken the bolts on the RB mounts.
With or without the brace. I'd suggest the blocks, while better than nothing are not as strong as the blocks and brace. You're right in that I don't drive hard enough but we have plenty of customers that do. I still have not seen the RB sway bar brace fail. At $90 it is also more TCB than $160.00.
Went to Harbor Freight in North Richland Hills tonight to get the spot welder cutter. ::Banana::
You defiantly don't want to go to that store after dark some scary folks in that place!
Always nice to see you Keifersmith!
Are the stock NA mounts stronger than the NB? I do use the RB blocks, but you'd think I would have torn a mount by now after 10 years on R comps.
Brown Santa just dropped of my AWR Sway bar mounts! These are some fine looking brackets!

Take pictures of the install. I'm interested to see what's involved.
POS, I would be interested in what you think of the product and install when complete, too. Keep us updated. (I don't need pics, just opinion.)
POS, you should invite gabkwong or onething over when you do the install. I know gabkwong was cussing his car when he did his!
POS, get the HF drill bit and use the cissor jack and you should get this done under 2 hrs. My problem was the bolts rusted and broke off. I had to drill/tap for the new bolts. BTW, get a cutting tool. You will need to noch the radiator brackets to make it fit. No biggie! I also bended the a/c line a little. Just be gentle. All it need was to move it out of the way a little. I will give the job skill level for this job a 4 out of 10. These brackets are work of art and stronger than is needed. They are at least twice as heavy as the oem brackets. They make the oem's look like dime store stuff!
Cone-cerned wasn't kidding about the power steering lines being a PITA.
I was able to fish the lines through the bracket but now I'm about a 1/2" short of being able to bolt the AWR bracket in place..... Plus now my garage is getting toasty.
On a happier not the spot weld cutter worked awesome!
Are you and ready to AX tomorrow?
Slacker!
Is the Caddy cleaned up and ready to go tomorrow?
Do it right... I might want to buy that car some day. :D
Gab's jack trick is the bomb! Really not that bad of a project but I keep hit work stoppages like the power steering cooler lines. Still not together yet.
It is not looking good for the home team for tomorrows SCCA event....
Back to work!
BTW. I'm looking for a replacement for the POSIV ya want to trade General?? ;-)
