Fast course and it had the fun factor too. Rain held off until we started picking up cones. Ground never got wet.

Great time. Fun course & plenty fast in a little chipmunk car. Sharon was on her game today
Glad to hear the speed peeps had a good time! I must admit I haven't designed a course since we had a white Democrat in the White House so I really appreciated the help of Andy, Robert Jones, and Paul Kurtz. Without their input it would have been a lesser course for sure. Andy let me know if you need a hand with the 4age rebuild. I feel at least somewhat guilty.
Also thanks to Terry O'Brien for letting me instruct/drive his '09 Miata. He did well and shows alot of promise. I find myself trolling CL for NC Miatas...
I built that motor in February and have never been happy with it. It uses oil faster than I would like and it just doesn't have the pep or power that I remember from the three previous MR2's I've owned. I may just throw a $15 set of eBay rod bearings in it and then unload it on some sucker on CL.
anyone got a video for those of us who missed out?
There were a couple of wireless GoPro signals at the event. Don't know who.
It would have been interesting to see how many goPro signals there were at the Solo Nationals during the day.
Nerver thought to look and see. I bet the GoPro people thought to check since they are a SCCA sponsor.
I don't know Scott Wilson personally, but I see he was hosting some pictures of the previous events on smugmug. Does anyone know if he took pictures of event #8?
The Wilsons were not there. I think John had a high school reunion or something.
